Oregon Scholarships for High School and College Students

Our scholarship program supports LGBTQ+ students who are leaders—in their own lives, in their families, in their home communities, in their fields of study, in their workplaces, or in our movements for justice.  We prioritize moving resources to LGBTQ+ students who need it most, so we especially focus our funding on those LGBTQ+ student leaders who have some or all of the following experiences and qualities:Demonstrate a commitment to advancing justice and the well-being of their communities, past, present, and futureHave experienced family rejection and/or haven’t been able to access a larger community support systemFace systemic barriers to educational access,...

For the 2025/2026 school year, the benefit amount awarded to members pursing higher education will be increased to $110,000 in total. BetterLife members may apply for BetterLife’s National Scholarship benefit consisting of up to 61 scholarships. Simon Youth Foundation works to help students achieve their goals, and cost alone should not prevent a student from furthering their education. Each year, SYF looks to award, on average, $1 million, in scholarships, to help students with the cost of post-secondary education. To be eligible for the Arctic Chiropractic "Got a Spine Scholarship" a student must:1) Be attending college or university no later than October of 2025.2) Be attending college or university on a full-time basis by October of 2025.3) Have achieved a GPA of 2.5 or greater during their last academic year.4) Be a U.S. or Canadian resident.5) Be attending a school in the U.S. or Canada by October of 2025.6) Submit answers to the essay questions no later than 11:59 PM EST on the day of the deadline.*Note that you can be enrolled in any field of study.
