How to Draft a Compelling Scholarship Video

Produce a clear, authentic video that highlights your story and meets the technical and ethical guidelines specified by the scholarship. Record in a well-lit area, keep the camera steady, and state your full name and the scholarship name near the start of the video. Cite any sources or media tools used, use copyright-free visuals, and prefer simple editing that enhances clarity rather than obscures authorship. Do not use AI to generate the video, write scripts, alter voices, or create fictional characters; misuse of AI will result in removal from consideration.

Guidelines: Use good lighting, steady framing, and identify yourself and the scholarship within the first few seconds; cite sources and editing tools.

Restrictions: No AI-generated content (scripts, voice modification, or fabricated characters); use only copyright-free media for visuals.

  • Record in well-lit environments with a steady camera
  • Introduce yourself and the scholarship at the beginning of the video
  • Cite sources and any editing software used; use copyright-free visuals
  • AI-created or AI-manipulated submissions will be disqualified
